- Portable power bank

- Sunglasses (polarized)
2. Clothing & Accessories
- Light T-shirts / tank tops
- Rash guards / UV shirts
- Swim shorts / board shorts
- Lightweight pants or joggers
- Hoodie or light jacket (for evenings)
- Hat / cap
- Windbreaker (for strong wind days)
3. Toiletries & Personal Care
- Toothbrush / toothpaste
- Razor / shaving kit
- Shampoo / body wash (if you prefer your own)
- Deodorant
- Sunscreen (reef-safe, SPF 50+)
- Lip balm with SPF
- After-sun lotion or aloe gel
- Hairbrush / comb
- Hair dryer
- Small first-aid kit (band-aids, antiseptic wipes, ibuprofen, seasickness pills)
4. Kite Surfing Gear (Personal Items Only)
- Wetsuit / shorty (check water temperature)
- Lycra top / rash guard

Kitesurfing in Egypt (Red Sea) is possible almost year-round thanks to warm water temperatures. The right wetsuit depends on the month and how sensitive you are to cold.

Recommended Wetsuits by Season
March β May
Recommended: 3/2 mm full wetsuit
If you get cold easily, choose a 4/3 mm full suit.
The water is warm, but wind chill can make longer sessions cooler.
June β August
Recommended: Shorty (2β3 mm) or rashguard + boardshorts
Water is very warm (up to 30Β°C).
Many riders do not need a full wetsuit during summer.
September β October
Recommended: Shorty (2β3 mm) or 3/2 mm full suit
Still warm, but wind and longer sessions may require light protection.
November β December
Recommended: 3/2 mm full wetsuit
If you are sensitive to cold or doing long sessions, consider 4/3 mm.
